Optimus
Optimus is an early-season cultivar developed for machine harvesting for the fresh market. Its berry is mid-sized and is not recommended for hand harvesting. It is an early bloom, with good natural early leafing. Optimus has great yield potential and its harvest begins earlier than ‘Star’. Can be susceptible to chilly thrip damage.
